Empowering Women's Health in Malaysia: Addressing NCDs and Mental Well-being

The 2nd Women's Health Research symposium aims to foster a collaborative platform for researchers, healthcare professionals, policymakers, and community advocates to address the pressing health challenges faced by women in Malaysia. Our focus this year will be on Non-communicable Diseases (NCDs) such as diabetes, obesity, and Mental Health issues that disproportionately affect women across life spans, that is under-researched here in Malaysia.


Through keynote sessions, panel discussions, and research presentations, the symposium seeks to raise awareness, showcase current research and its implementation in these niche areas, to contribute towards the enhancement of women's health programmes and improved outcomes.
