Exploring Challenges, Opportunities, and Partnerships to Advance Preconception Health and Care in the Western Pacific

The university hosted the 1st Western Pacific Regional Preconception Health Network Conference on 22 and 23 November 2025. The two-day conference, themed “Exploring Challenges, Opportunities, and Partnerships to Advance Preconception Health and Care in the Western Pacific,” gathered researchers, clinicians, policymakers, and advocates to share insights and strengthen cross-country collaboration.
The event was a collaborative effort led by Associate Professor Dr Jacqueline Boyle, Convener of the Western Pacific Regional Preconception Health Network and Head of Health Systems and Equity at Monash University’s Eastern Health Clinical School, together with Associate Professor Dr Nisha Angela Dominic, Chair of the Women’s Health Network in Malaysia.
